Lead a scrappy civilization of space beavers. Smash stars together into a black hole, then feed it until its gravity holds part of the universe together against the expansion. Not too big: whatever falls inside its horizon is gone. Beavers build dams. This is the biggest one ever.
- Salvage: The Big Rip is coming and nothing can stop it. Hold as much of the universe together as you can, for as long as you can.
- Reclamation: Build the Dark Energy Disruptor and stop the rip. Then hold as much of the universe as you can until the last stars burn out.
- The Long Haul: No rip, no deadline, an infinite universe. Keep the Disruptor’s engine fed as long as you can.
- Rekindle: Stop the rip, then keep the lights on forever: spin the hole up, light the Star Forge, and seed new stars from the dead matter of the universe.
